The Process Engineer will work on various project types including process safety evaluation, new process/production line design, process efficiency evaluation, process qualification, process improvements, and new equipment acquisition, utilizing the Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP) methodology.\n\nEssential Duties Include:\n\nCreate and maintain APQP documentation such as PFMEA, Control Plans, Work Instructions, Standard Works, and other supporting documentation.\n\nPerform process qualifications to ensure that a process is stable and can create conforming products.\n\nMaintain and create data outlining setup time and inputs for the planning team.\n\nDesign manufacturing processes that meet OSHA standards for safety and assure no harm will come to personnel working with said manufacturing processes.\n\nUse customer demand input to match precisely the production process with demand.\n\nPerform general process improvements based on feedback from production associates.\n\nDetermine the cost of a project for capital investment planning and to generate justification when needed.\n\nLead new equipment purchasing, installation, and training to ensure a safe and capable process has been established.\n\nDemonstrate verbal and written communication skills to convey ideas to management and manufacturing staff to achieve buy‑in.\n\nUtilize lean tools to support manufacturing lean events and initiatives.\n\nSeeks out new opportunities daily.\n\nSupport and uphold quality and EHS policies.\n\nUphold the Conductix Core Values.\n\nEducation\n\nBachelor's degree (B.S.) in Manufacturing Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a relevant field of study from a four‑year college or university; or three to five years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\n\nQualifications\n\nProficiency in using Microsoft products.\n\nAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.\n\nAbility to manage many concurrent projects while maintaining high productivity and completing projects on time.\n\nConductix‑Wampfler offers a great starting wage, with health, dental, and life insurance, 401k plan, paid vacation/personal time and holidays, profit sharing and tuition reimbursement program.\n\nDrug‑free workplace / EOE\nEqual Opportunity Employer, including disabled and veterans.\n\nSupervisory and Leadership Responsibilities\n\nThis role has no supervisory responsibilities but will lead small teams to achieve a common goal.\n\nPhysical Demands\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
