We build customer-facing experiences that help travelers explore flexible dates, alternate airports, and dynamic filters, making flight discovery clearer and easier.\nAs a Software Development Engineer I, you’ll join a full-stack engineering team working across React, TypeScript, Node.js, Kotlin, and Java. This role is designed for engineers early in their career who are excited to learn, build real production features, and grow into broader ownership with support from experienced teammates.\nIn this role, you will:\nContribute to end-to-end feature development, working on React-based user interfaces and backend services with guidance\nWork with APIs (GraphQL or REST) to fetch and display data in user-facing experiences\nDebug issues in development and production with support from teammates\nUse monitoring and logging tools to understand system behavior and troubleshoot issues\nCollaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to understand requirements and user needs with the ability to communicate progress clearly\nLeverage AI tools to help with learning, coding, debugging, testing, and documentation\nMinimum Requirements:\nBachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience\n0–2 years of professional software development experience, including internships, co-ops, or substantial project work\nFoundational knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript\nExposure to React or similar modern frontend frameworks\nExposure to backend development in Node.js, Java, or Kotlin\nBasic experience working with APIs (REST or GraphQL)\nPreferred Experience:\nHands-on project experience building full-stack applications\nExposure to GraphQL and client-side data fetching patterns\nFamiliarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library)\nExposure to cloud-hosted environments (AWS or similar)\nExperience using AI tools to assist with coding, debugging, testing, or learning\nCuriosity about performance, reliability, and user experience\nThe total cash range for this position in Seattle is $92,500.00 to $129,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $148,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.\nStarting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience.
