Perform safe start-up, operation, tool changes, and shutdown of equipment. Repeatedly lift and move material weighing 50+ lbs. with or without assistance from lifting devices. Handle metal parts and materials, use hand and power tools, assemble and form silicon and amorphous cores, ensure parts conform to ERMCO standards, and follow all ERMCO safety policies and procedures.Necessary Qualifications Understand and follow instructions (spoken and written). Use an iPad or other electronic communication devices Work in a team environment with open communication and collaboration Use of organizational skills and attention to detail Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measurements Demonstrate proper lifting techniques Grasp, reach, and handle objects, tools, and materials Use hand/power tools such as cordless drills, air ratchets, wrenches, pliers, and hammers Operate overhead hoists and lift assist equipment Must be able to lift/push 50+ lbs. and pull up to 50+ lbs Frequent standing and walking 20/40 vision is required with or without the use of corrective glasses and/or contact lens, as well as normal peripheral vision no less than 70, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus Must comply with safety policies and procedures and any special department safety rules Must be able to wear all required PPE including, but not limited to safety toe shoes, safety glasses, cut resistant gloves, and hearing protectionQualificationsPreferred Qualifications 3 Years of consistent work history 1 year of manufacturing experience Use measuring devices such as tap measures, calipers, and micrometers (digital and manual) Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with standard computer systems and applications.
