You will work closely with customers throughout the project lifecycle, from discovery and solution design through deployment and ongoing support.Successful candidates are naturally curious, enjoy learning new technologies, and are motivated by solving complex technical and business challenges.What You'll DoServe as a trusted advisor to customers, aligning business objectives with networking, security, and connectivity solutionsLead customer discovery sessions, technical workshops, and solution design discussionsDesign and deliver secure, scalable, and resilient networking solutions across campus, wireless, data center, WAN, and cloud-connected environmentsDevelop and present solution designs, technical proposals, Bills of Materials (BOMs), Professional Services estimates, and Statements of Work (SOWs)Collaborate with account managers, project managers, and customer stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomesImplement, migrate, optimize, and support enterprise networking solutions throughout their lifecycleTroubleshoot and resolve complex networking and security-related issues in customer environmentsAssess, document, and analyze customer environments while identifying opportunities for modernization, optimization, and risk reductionDeliver technical documentation, operational runbooks, and knowledge transfer materialsBuild lasting customer relationships through technical leadership, responsiveness, and exceptional serviceStay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to provide informed recommendations and strategic guidanceMaintain and advance technical certifications aligned with business and market requirementsWhat You'll BringYou're a collaborative team player who is invested in helping customers succeed while contributing to a great company culture.This is a highly dynamic, customer-facing role that requires strong organizational skills, adaptability, and the ability to effectively context switch between technologies, projects, and customer priorities. Successful engineers are comfortable navigating ambiguity, balancing multiple responsibilities, and communicating effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.You possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience:Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience5+ years designing, implementing, supporting, and troubleshooting enterprise networking solutionsStrong knowledge of enterprise routing, switching, wireless, and network security technologiesExperience designing and supporting networking solutions utilizing platforms from one or more leading vendors such as Cisco, Arista, Aruba, Juniper, or equivalent technologiesSolid understanding of enterprise networking architectures, technologies, and protocols, including routing, switching, segmentation, and secure connectivity concepts utilizing technologies such as BGP, OSPF, Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), VLANs, IPSec VPNs, and multicastExperience gathering customer requirements and developing technical designs, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and Statements of Work (SOWs)Strong communication, presentation, documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skillsAbility to communicate technical concepts and recommendations to both technical and business stakeholdersAbility and willingness to travel to customer sites as neededCommitment to maintaining and advancing technical certificationsPreferred Knowledge and ExperienceModern Networking & SecuritySoftware-Defined WAN (SD-WAN) solutions such as Cisco SD-WAN, VMware VeloCloud, Meraki SD-WAN, Cato Networks, or similar platformsZero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), Secure Service Edge (SSE), and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) architectures and solutions such as Cato Networks, Palo Alto Prisma Access, Zscaler, Netskope, Cisco Secure Access, or similar platformsIdentity-based network access control, authentication, and policy management solutions, including wired and wireless 802.1X deployments utilizing platforms such as Cisco ISE, Aruba ClearPass, Juniper Mist Access Assurance, Arista AGNI, or similar solutionsFamiliarity with modern data center networking technologies such as VXLAN, EVPN, and network segmentation architecturesNetwork Operations & VisibilityNetwork management and operational platforms such as Cisco Catalyst Center, Arista CloudVision, Juniper Mist, Meraki Dashboard, or similar solutionsNetwork monitoring, observability, and performance management platforms such as ThousandEyes, LogicMonitor, SolarWinds, or similar solutionsWireless NetworkingWireless networking experience with one or more enterprise wireless platforms, including Cisco, Meraki, Aruba, Juniper Mist, Arista, or similar solutionsUnderstanding of 802.11 standards and RF fundamentalsExperience performing predictive and on-site wireless surveys; Ekahau experience is a plusExperience supporting mixed-use wireless environments, including office, high-density, voice, and high-bandwidth deploymentsEmerging TechnologiesFamiliarity with network automation concepts, APIs, scripting, and orchestration platformsUnderstanding of hybrid networking and connectivity to public cloud environments, including AWS and Microsoft AzureCertificationsRelevant industry certifications are valued.
