The ideal candidate thrives in complex, high-performance environments and can work comfortably across both backend systems and modern front-end frameworks.\r\nYou'll collaborate with software engineers, DevOps, and product teams to deliver secure, efficient, and high-quality solutions across the entire software stack.\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\nDesign, develop, and maintain end-to-end software solutions using Java, C, and Python .\r\nDevelop robust and efficient backend APIs, microservices, and system integrations.\r\nWrite optimized C-based modules or services for high-performance components or legacy system integrations.\r\nImplement modern front-end interfaces using frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js .\r\nCollaborate with DevOps to deploy and monitor applications in cloud or on-prem environments .\r\nParticipate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical design sessions.\r\nWrite unit, integration, and performance tests to ensure code reliability and maintainability.\r\nTroubleshoot, optimize, and refactor code for performance, scalability, and security.\r\nContribute to CI/CD pipeline automation and development best practices.\r\nCollaborate cross-functionally with QA, data, and security teams to ensure successful product delivery.\r\nRequired Qualifications\r\n5+ years of professional software development experience in a full stack or backend-focused role.\r\nStrong proficiency in Java (Spring Boot or similar) , Python (Flask, Django, or FastAPI) , and C/C++ for system-level development.\r\nSolid understanding of RESTful APIs , microservices , and multithreaded programming .\r\nExperience with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue .\r\nFamiliarity with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar).\r\nExperience with Git , CI/CD tools , and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).\r\nWorking knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and basic networking principles.\r\nPreferred Qualifications\r\nExperience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).\r\nKnowledge of software security best practices and secure coding standards.\r\nExperience with data pipelines , machine learning integration , or IoT platforms is a plus.\r\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.\r\nFamiliarity with Agile development methodologies .\r\nKavaliro provides Equal Employment Opportunities to all employees and applicants.
