We are committed to pioneering sustainable solutions in the energy sector and are now seeking passionate and qualified individuals to join our dynamic team.\r\nThis position is responsible for supporting the development of multiple utility scale energy storage projects throughout the Eastern US from origination through NTP, with a primary focus on due-diligence, achieving site-control and permitting.\r\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\r\nAssist regional developers throughout the project development cycle.\r\nPrepare error-free purchase-option and lease documents using company templates.\r\nEngage in cold-calling landowners and negotiating purchase options.\r\nMaintain ongoing communication with landowners during the development process.\r\nConduct due diligence tasks, including desktop research and site visits.\r\nVisit points of interconnection and related parcels for in-person site assessments and landowner engagement.\r\nSecure easements as needed.\r\nMaintain accurate records of the development pipeline and key performance metrics.\r\nManage project budgets and financial forecasts.\r\nOTHER RESPONSIBILITIES\r\nMaintain project timelines, records, and other due diligence data.\r\nRegulatory monitoring & market research.\r\nEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED\r\nBA/BS Degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.\r\nProven track record of successfully obtaining site control for 5+ infrastructure projects or similar (distribution center, datacenter, solar, etc) experience.\r\nAbility and comfort contacting a wide variety of landowners (including individuals, sole-proprietors, and corporate real estate departments).\r\nExtremely high attention to detail, analytical problem-solving skills, and ability to produce error-free documents.\r\nAbility to use GIS based tools / Google Earth.\r\nNo renewable energy industry experience necessary.\r\nHigh tolerance for failure and drive to succeed.\r\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\r\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\r\nMust be able to work in an office environment.\r\nAbility to work at a computer and computer monitor and use repetitive motion for long periods of time.\r\nAbility and willingness to travel (up to 20%)\r\nBENEFITS\r\nBase salary commensurate with experience and year-end discretionary bonuses/project bonuses.\r\nComprehensive health care (medical, dental, vision), and voluntary benefits.\r\nPTO and other paid leave options.\r\nEquity incentive plan for ideal candidates.\r\nNOTES\r\nWe are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applications from candidates with various work authorizations.
