You will operate CNC machines to produce components to specification while supporting quality, safety, and efficient production.Location: Savanna, ILWork Arrangement: On-siteSchedule: 3rd Shift, Monday-Friday, 10:30 PM-6:30 AMPay: $16.00-$19.00/hour, depending on experienceOther Compensation: $2.00/hour shift premiumEmployment Type: Full-time / HourlyWhat You'll Do as a CNC OperatorOperate CNC machines to produce components according to specifications.Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality requirements.Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and make necessary adjustments.Read and interpret blueprints and use basic measuring instruments to verify specifications.Complete required production and quality documentation accurately and thoroughly.Maintain a clean, organized work area in accordance with 5S standards.Follow all safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures.What You'll BringRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Ability to follow and interpret verbal and written work instructions.Ability to read and understand blueprints.Basic computer and math skills.Ability to work independently, take initiative, and complete assigned tasks.Ability to communicate effectively and build positive working relationships with team members and internal customers.A record of dependable work, reliable attendance, and punctuality.Preferred QualificationsPrevious industrial manufacturing experience.Work Environment & Physical RequirementsThis role requires repeatedly lifting up to 50 pounds.Employees in this role stand for extended periods and push or pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds.The position involves frequent bending and stooping.Manual dexterity is required to handle small objects.Employees work in a manufacturing environment where noise is present.The physical requirements described above represent those needed to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.BenefitsEligible employees across MacLean-Fogg and its affiliated companies have access to a comprehensive benefits program designed to support health, financial well-being, time away, and development.
