Our work spans everything from drug development and manufacturing to clinical supplies packaging, labeling, and distribution.\nThe Machine Operator will be responsible for performing various tasks to operate, monitor, and troubleshoot a variety of assigned machines and will also be responsible for inspecting components to specifications. Operates a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES **include the following. Other duties may be assigned.\nEffectively operate a variety of machines and maintain quality of packaging within assigned Center of Excellence.\nMaintain a constant vigilance to the quality of the packaging process and reports issues when they arise in a timely manner to the mechanic\nClears jams, changes labels, replaces ribbons, films, tape, neck band material, cotton and makes adjustments accordingly.\nRecords necessary date as required on all machine logs, downtime reports, and material yield logs.\nChecks quality Lot# Exp Date of packages in assigned room and assists with equipment challenges.\nReads and understands Human Machine Interface screens and alarms.\nCommunicate with Line Leader and Material Handlers to ensure all production components are never in shortage.\nMaintains cleanliness of equipment and work area.\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES**\nThis job normally has no supervisory responsibilities.\nQUALIFICATIONS: **To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE**\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Detail oriented. Basic computer skills and experience with spreadsheets, word processing and database.
