Duties will include overseeing the loading and unloading of materials, monitoring inventory levels, testing material, conducting routine inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.\nThis role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to upholding operational standards to achieve operational targets.\n\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\n\nComply with Eco Material Technologies Safety Policies and Procedures\nPromote safe work habits to help create a zero-injury safety culture\nAttends regular safety meeting and follows all safety guidelines as required\nMaintain communication with utility\nMonitor and record levels of fly ash in silos and place orders as needed.\nPulls samples of fly ash from loads and silos for testing and performs required tests\nLoads trucks, rail cars or barges with fly ash directly from the silo\nUnloads trucks, rail cars, or other deliver system to fill fly ash silos\nWeighs trucks and rail cars and records the information in relevant operating system or production sheet and creates tickets for billing\nOperates all loading equipment for loading trucks and/or rail cars including: water truck, dump truck, vacuum truck, or forklift on site when required\nOperate production equipment including start up and shut down\nAssists in the disposal operation where required\nPerforms maintenance on grounds, equipment and facilities as directed\nResponsible for all paperwork and reports as required\nRegular attendance, timeliness, and scheduling flexibility\nReport any safety, quality of equipment maintenance items to Supervisor\nAssist with maintenance repairs and projects\nOther duties as assigned\n\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES\n\nResponds promptly to customer needs\nFollows established policies and procedures\nDemonstrates accuracy and thoroughness\nStrong verbal communication skills for conveying instructions, reporting issues, and collaborating with coworkers and supervisors\nAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions\nManages time effectively and meets productivity standards\nObserves safety and security procedures including using equipment and materials properly and following all safety absolutes\nCapacity to deal with problems and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions\nWorks well with others, follows instructions from supervisors and coordinates tasks with coworkers to achieve project goals\nConsistently punctual and reliable\nAbility and willingness to work rotating on-call shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime\nAbility to adapt to changing job site conditions, equipment requirements, and project priorities\n\nEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE\nThe employee should have the following:\n\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent and training or certification in relevant skill or trade\n1 - 2 years' experience in a relevant field\n\nESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT\nThe employee should possess the ability to:\n\nBe exposed to sounds or noise levels that maybe uncomfortable\nWithstand exposure to temperature extremes inside or out\nProlong standing or sitting in stationary position\nRequired to occasionally climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl\nComplete repetitive movements\nBend and/or twist\nMust be able to ascend/descend stairs or ladders\nLift/move/transport items up to 50 pounds\nAbility to move or traverse about the facilities\nAbility to work around dust, chemicals, and other substances, and in various environmental conditions\nWear all required personal protective equipment (hearing, vision and hardhat protection)\n\nThis is not necessarily an all-inclusive list of job-related responsibilities, duties, skills, efforts, requirements or working conditions.
