{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"4b2d5baa14e714e30a2c6f21","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/4b2d5baa14e714e30a2c6f21","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/4b2d5baa14e714e30a2c6f21","title":"Electronics Engineer IV, Avionics Responsible Product Engineer","description":"Description\nJoin our team as an Electronics Responsible Product Engineer where you will work on the development of a sophisticated state-of-the-art avionics product in a world class Integrated Product Development environment.\n\nLocation: This position does not support teleworking; you will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in Littleton CO and be expected to work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full-time.\n\nWhat does this role look like?\n\nAs an Electronics Responsible Product Engineer you will lead and coordinate technical design changes, own component production, delivery, and all aspects of engineering closeouts (Discrepancy Reports; End-Item Data Packages, Material Review Board, Failure Review Board, etc.) and coordinate with suppliers as required.\n\nKey activities you will accomplish in this role:\n\nSupport system test and ATLO to resolve test anomalies with associated troubleshooting\n\nSupport generation, review and presentation of Product Certification\n\nManage risk and identify mitigation plans to meet productivity, quality, cost, schedule, and mission success objectives.\n\nLead specific topics (as applicable) during engineering reviews (to include but not limited to): Change Review Board, Engineering Review Board, Quality Review Board, Material Review Board, Failure Review Boards, etc.\n\nTo be effective in this role, you will need:\n\n5+ years of professional experience.\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\nBachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.\n\nExperience in the development of avionics for high reliability applications.\n\nPrior experience as a responsible product engineer or technical lead.\n\nDesired Skills:\n\nSelf-motivated & willing to dive into problems that may exist outside their comfort zone (i.e, support investigate for production processes, if any).\n\nDemonstrated ability to quickly close out near-term tasking or address in a timely fashion.\n\nExperience performing specification/requirement development and documentation.\n\nFamiliar with electronic systems schematic creation and interpretation, and electronics modeling/simulation tools such as SPICE.\n\nFamiliar with design, test, operations and systems engineering disciplines.\n\nFamiliar with electronics analysis (Worst Case Analysis (eWCA), electrical parts stress analysis, failure modes and effects critical analysis).\n\nExperience performing failure investigation on electronic hardware (CCA, Unit, and System Level).\n\nStrong communication skills, and experience presenting to peers, leadership, and/or customers\n\nMust be adaptable to new situations and demonstrate self-initiative in solving complex problems.\n\nExperienced at leading teams through challenging engineering and/or programmatic issues\n\nAbility to interpret and create electrical schematics in tools such as Zuken\n\nExperience in modeling and analysis tools such as OrCAD Pspice and/or Saber\n\nClearance Level: None\n\nSchedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off\n\nPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
