The Material Handler needs to demonstrate a good working attitude and accept guidance from several lead people and multitask with work load. You will report directly to the Shop Manager.\nEssential Responsibilities:\nPerform tasks as directed by lead personnel and Shop Supervisor\nSafely operates equipment such as forklifts, heat treat oven, hydro equipment, and other equipment used in manufacturing of heavy equipment\nSupport the manufacturing shop with staging parts and pieces, blasting, and shipping\nMaintains compliance with all company policies and procedures\nAll other tasks as assigned\nRequirements:\nSkills and Qualifications:\nHigh school Diploma or equivalent\nProven manufacturing experience\nKnowledge of basic shop equipment\nMust be available to work on some Saturdays\nMust wear personal protection equipment (PPE)\nAbility to understand and follow basic oral and written instructions\nKnowledge of normal operating states of shop equipment with regards to safety\nEffectively communicate and understand job instructions both verbally and written in English\nUphold Mueller Environmental Designs Core Values\nPhysical Requirements and other items to communicate:\nAbility to use up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force continuously to move objects. Depth perception and field of vision (peripheral) are of some importance. Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs and ladders, push and pull equipment. Ability to move heavy materials and equipment. Crouches, kneels, stoops, reaches, and turns over for 90% of shift. Ability to recognize differences in sound generated by equipment or machinery, which may indicate operating problems or safety concerns.
