Job Description The Customer Service Representative I (CSR I) provides front-line customer service and operational support for Nisqually Post & Print. This role supports customer interactions via phone, email, and in-person service, ensuring a positive and professional experience.The CSR I is responsible for order intake, basic processing, and data entry, as well as assisting with print job evaluation and setting clear customer expectations on timelines and deliverables. This role supports daily mail, shipping, print, and finishing operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across tasks.Additionally, the CSR I assists with routine Post & Print services including mailings, shipping, stamps, and general correspondence, while maintaining an organized and clean work environment.The CSR I ensures a high level of customer service while maintaining accuracy, organization, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment, and performs additional duties as assigned.REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE1+ year of retail, customer service, or front desk experienceHigh School Diploma or equivalentBasic cashiering and credit card processing experienceStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environmentBasic computer skills (email, data entry, point-of-sale systems)PREFERRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE2+ years of customer service or retail experienceExperience assisting customers via phone, email, and in-personFamiliarity with postal, shipping, or print environments (not required)Experience with Microsoft Office or similar systemsBasic photo editing, cropping, and file preparation for printSupervisory RequirementsNoneESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOBReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.Customer Service & Order Intake⦁ Greet and assist customers in person, by phone, and via email⦁ Receive, evaluate, and process customer orders for print and shipping services⦁ Accurately enter order details and route jobs to appropriate production staff (CSR II / CSR III)⦁ Set clear customer expectations regarding services, timelines, and deliverables⦁ Manage and monitor the Post & Print inbox, ensuring timely responses⦁ Assist customers with order pickup and provide excellent customer service throughout the transactionMailing & Shipping Services⦁ Receive packages from carriers and log incoming deliveries⦁ Process outgoing shipments, including labeling, postage, and documentation⦁ Sell stamps and provide guidance on mailing options⦁ Manage and maintain Post Office Box services, including customer support and account setupOperational Support⦁ Assist with basic print production tasks such as cutting, folding, collating, laminating, punching, and organizing materials⦁ Review incoming artwork for basic quality and print readiness, escalating complex issues as needed⦁ Support workflow by preparing jobs for production and ensuring materials are ready for next steps⦁ Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop, front counter, and workspaces⦁ Monitor supply levels and notify leadership of low inventoryAdministrative & Community Support⦁ Answer general inquiries and provide information about services, pricing, and timelines⦁ Maintain accurate records of transactions and customer interactions⦁ Provide walk-in support for basic services such as printing forms, faxing, and assisting customers with simple technology needs (e.g., email support), with a focus on serving community members, including elders⦁ Support general office and administrative tasks as neededOther· Perform other duties as assigned to support business operations· Have reliable transportation; possess current WA Driver's License and insurable through the companies insurance provider.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS· Ability to lift, move, and carry up to 25+ pounds· Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift· Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive tasks· Manual dexterity for operating computers, POS systems, and light production equipmentWORK ENVIRONMENTThis position operates in a retail and production-based print and mail environment. The role regularly uses office and print shop equipment, including computers, phones, copiers, printers, cutting equipment, and shipping systems. The environment includes moderate noise levels, active production equipment, and frequent customer interaction.Employees may be exposed to paper dust, ink, toner, and other standard print production materials.
