Job Summary and Responsibilities Mercy Medical Group (MMG), a large multi-specialty medical group in the Sacramento region, is looking to add a full‑time Board Certified OB Hospitalist Physician to their team. Responsibilities include covering the OB emergency department, covering patients in labor & delivery, providing emergency gynecological consults, and being available for surgical assist needs. Incoming physicians will be based out of Methodist Hospital of Sacramento Hospital does approximately 1,800 births per year 24‑hour back‑up OB on‑call is provided Full‑time schedule: twelve 12‑hour shifts per month, with options for 24‑hour shifts Additional compensation for extra shifts Level II nursery with support from the Level III NICU at Mercy San Juan Medical Center Shareholder track opportunity Generous compensation and benefits Sign‑on bonus and moving bonus available for full‑time applicants Employer‑provided tail insurance Active board certification required Compensation range: $330,000 – $339,000 plus bonuses Job Requirements MD or DO degree Board‑Certified in OB/GYN (ABMS or AOA) Active California medical license (or ability to obtain) DEA certification Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills Passion for delivering compassionate, high‑quality care in a fast‑paced environment Where You'll Work Mercy Medical Group (MMG) is a dynamic, growing organization with a long‑standing history of providing exceptional medical care in the Sacramento area.
