This role will design, deploy, and sustain critical components of our AI analytics stack, including analytic frontends, production APIs, interfaces between AI workflow components, and the underlying data layer.\n\nMEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT\n\nAs a Principal Agentic AI Full Stack Software Engineer, you will be a core member of the AI team responsible for prototyping, building, and delivering critical data analytics capabilities. You will help translate emerging AI and machine learning concepts into reliable, user-focused software solutions that support mission outcomes.\n\nJOB DUTIES (INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO)\n\nDevelop clean, maintainable, and efficient Python code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.\n\nLead the technical design and implementation of AI-enabled web applications and analytics using Streamlit, React, or similar technologies.\n\nIntegrate modern AI and large language model capabilities into applications and workflows, including prompting, tool calling, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and related patterns.\n\nDesign, develop, and integrate APIs, including FastAPI-based services, to enable seamless communication between systems.\n\nBuild and maintain user interfaces that make complex AI, data, and analytics capabilities accessible to end users.\n\nEstablish and maintain CI/CD pipelines and container-based deployments using tools such as Docker to support repeatable builds and reliable releases.\n\nWork with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL to ensure data integrity, performance, and efficiency.\n\nImplement and maintain version control using Git to streamline collaboration and code management.\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, develop, test, and deliver new features.\n\nEnsure all developed solutions meet high standards for security, quality, reliability, and maintainability.\n\nContribute to all stages of the software development life cycle, from concept and design through testing, deployment, and sustainment.\n\nREQUIRED SKILLS\n\nProficiency in writing clean, maintainable, and efficient Python code.\n\nExperience building AI-enabled web applications, analytic dashboards, or user workflows using Streamlit or similar technologies.\n\nStrong knowledge of web technologies, containerization, RESTful APIs, and user interface development.\n\nExperience designing and maintaining scalable backend solutions using Python frameworks.\n\nFamiliarity with relational database systems such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.\n\nProficiency with Docker;
