Capable of coordinating and delivering user interface and experience across USPTO for Patent Center modules. Participate in design meetings, understand complex architectures and integrations. Ensure code quality through code reviews.\n\nWork with USPTO Product Managers and UX designers to translate requirements and business objectives into complete user interfaces. Experienced in UI/UX design and development, user sessions, wireframes, 508 compliance, browser compatibility, coding.\n\nCore Responsibilities:\n\nCollaboration: Work with clients, key stakeholders, as well as cross functional teams.\nTechnical Performance: Front end expertise to build project platforms using TypeScript to develop rich User Interfaces. Ensures the application is covered with unit tests, and is 508 compliant.\n\nMinimum Requirements\n\nEducation: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT or related field experience\nExperience: 5+ years of experience\nModern JavaScriptTypeScript: Fluency in Angular 18+, asynchronous patterns (Promises, async/await), closures, event loops, and this binding. Strong TypeScript capability, including generics and utility types.\nHTML5DOM API: Understanding of semantic HTML and the browser's rendering pipeline.\nCSSLayouts: Understanding of responsive design using Flexbox and CSS Grid, along with modern features like CSS Container Queries.\nFramework Expertise: Proficiency with Angular. Candidates must understand framework-specific rendering lifecycles (e.g., avoiding unnecessary re-renders).
