This is an exceptional opportunity for an engineer with a combination of technical expertise, program leadership experience, and the ability to interface with customers to drive innovation, collaboration, and excellence in a fast-paced, growing organization.\nResponsibilities\nProvide guidance and technical leadership in the design, integration, and testing of complex aircraft mission systems with both hardware and software\nElicit, synthesize, and decompose high-level operational requirements into derived subsystem-level requirements; manage traceability throughout the systems lifecycle\nPerform trade studies to evaluate commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) and government-off-the-shelf (GOTS) components against mission capabilities, cost, and schedule constraints\nEvaluate design alternatives for impact on cost, schedule\nRequirements\nBachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline (Master's degree preferred).\nUS Citizenship required and the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance\n5+ years of experience designing complex mission systems, including integrated hardware and software mission systems\nDemonstrated ability to elicit, synthesize, and decompose requirements with a focus on mission capabilities\nExperience using simulation capabilities to analyze alternate designs\nExperience developing radiation-hardened components systems is a plus\n\nThe team at MORSE takes pride in being the smart team that is easy to work with.
