This new position plays a critical role in overseeing corporate project management, ensuring that initiatives are effectively executed and aligned with Odyssey's organizational goals. In addition to managing the portfolio-level view, this individual will directly lead and execute multiple high-impact projects concurrently across departments. The ideal candidate brings a strong project management foundation, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to drive progress in complex, cross-functional environments. Experience in knowledge management, process improvement, or enterprise systems is a plus. This is a hybrid position based out of Odyssey's corporate headquarters in Wakefield, MA required to support from office 3 days per week.\r\nResponsibilitiesDuties include, but not limited to:\r\nPortfolio Oversight & Governance\r\nOversee the corporate project management queue, ensuring alignment with executive priorities and departmental objectives\r\nWork closely with Enterprise Alignment leadership to review, prioritize, and track progress on all corporate initiatives\r\nIdentify resourcing needs, risks, and cross-functional impacts across projects\r\nMaintain standardized reporting, dashboards, and project tracking tools\r\nManage team's review cycle of corporate projects to ensure timely updates, completion, and close-out\r\nProject Management & Execution\r\nServe as Project Manager for multiple concurrent cross-functional projects\r\nLead project planning, execution, monitoring, and close-out activities using best practices (e.g., PMBOK, Agile, or hybrid methodologies)\r\nFacilitate stakeholder engagement, manage timelines and deliverables, and ensure high-quality outcomes\r\nDrive accountability across teams, manage dependencies, and adapt plans as needed to meet project goals\r\nProcess Improvement & Knowledge Sharing\r\nSupport continuous improvement efforts within project management practices and tools\r\nChampion consistency, documentation, and knowledge sharing across the project portfolio\r\nContribute to building a culture of collaboration and transparency within Enterprise Alignment and across Odyssey\r\nCollaboration and Communication\r\nServe as a liaison between departments, ensuring strong communication and stakeholder alignment\r\nPrepare and deliver regular updates to senior leadership on project and portfolio performance\r\nProvide guidance and mentorship to other project managers or coordinators regularly\r\nQualificationsCitizenship: Must be a US citizen\r\nMinimum Required QualificationsEducation:Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Organizational Development, or a related field Years of Experience:At least eight (8) years of progressive experience in project management Certifications:PMP, PMI-ACP, or other relevant certifications are preferred\r\nTechnical Skills\r\nProven experience managing complex, cross-functional projects\r\nDemonstrated experience in portfolio or program-level oversight\r\nProficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, Planner, SharePoint, PowerPoint) and project management platforms\r\nExperience with advanced MS365 tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, Viva, and CoPilot, is preferred\r\nPreferred experience with knowledge management, change management, or enterprise systems\r\nFamiliarity with DoD contracting or working in a government services organization is a plus\r\nExperience developing or managing SharePoint-based project tracking systems or dashboards is preferred\r\nInterpersonal Skills\r\nStrong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills\r\nExperience working in a matrixed or professional services environment\r\nAdditional Information\r\nLocation:Wakefield, MA (Corporate HQ) Travel:5% Remote, Onsite, or Hybrid:Hybrid, three days in office requirement\r\nCompany OverviewOdyssey Systems Consulting Group,is an innovative small business committed to providing world-class technical, management, and training support services to government and public sector clients.
