Analyzes foreign ground, maritime, aerospace, and missile force programs to forecast future technologies, identify new applications of mature technologies, and assess the impact of technology transfers. Works with engineers, scientists, and modelers on foreign nuclear weapons processes, capabilities, and dual‑use technologies. Performs supply chain vulnerability analysis and procurement needs for missile programs.\n\nRequired Education, Experience, & Skills\n\nDesired Experience: At least 8 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to the specific labor category, with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.\n\nDesired Education: Bachelor’s degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.\n\nWhat you’ll bring\n\nIn-depth knowledge and understanding of the labor category activities required to meet mission requirements.\n\nMastery of qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies and pursue developments in academia or other fields that affect tradecraft methodology.\n\nAbility to define comprehensive, new, or unique research approaches that enable rigorous assessments to address and contribute to high‑level tasks.\n\nIn-depth analysis of analytic operations and knowledge management issues across organizational and intra‑IC boundaries and clearly articulates key findings.\n\nAbility to work independently and with minimal oversight.\n\nAbility to review analytic products for cogent arguments, tradecraft standards, and adequate support for conclusions; routinely test analytic rigor of analytic products.\n\nWhat you’ll do\n\nAnalyze and assess current and future foreign missile technology, including foreign missile system capabilities, vulnerabilities, advanced weapon systems, technical data analysis, and tactics, techniques, and procedures.
