Own the Work.\nWindwave is looking for an experienced Construction Foreman to lead field crews on telecommunications and infrastructure construction projects. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for coordinating daily work, keeping crews productive and safe, and ensuring work is completed according to project plans and quality standards.\nThe right candidate is an experienced equipment operator and field leader who can organize a jobsite, communicate clearly with their crew and Project Manager, and solve problems as they arise.\n\nWhat You’ll Do:\nLead and supervise construction crews of 5+ employees, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to project standards.\nPlan daily field activities and coordinate with the Project Manager on schedules, priorities, materials, and equipment.\nDirect trenching, conduit placement, material movement, cable pulling, installation, and other construction activities.\nOperate and oversee the safe use of excavators, skid steers, telehandlers, and other approved heavy equipment.\nInspect completed work for quality and compliance with project plans and specifications.\nLead daily safety discussions and enforce jobsite safety requirements.\nIdentify field issues, delays, or equipment needs and work with the Project Manager to resolve them quickly.\nMaintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, equipment needs, and jobsite incidents.\nMaintain an organized, productive, and professional jobsite.\n\nWhat You’ll Bring:\n3+ years of experience leading a construction crew of 5 or more employees.\n5+ years of heavy equipment operating experience.\nStrong understanding of construction methods, jobsite safety, and field operations.\nExperience operating excavators, skid steers, telehandlers, and other construction equipment.\nAbility to read project requirements, plan daily work, and give clear direction to crews.\nStrong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.\nValid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nTelecommunications, fiber, utility, or underground construction experience is preferred.\nMust pass drug screen and background check.\n\nWork Environment:\nThis is a hands-on field leadership position performed primarily on active construction sites.
