Due to the scope and continued expansion of the effort, there is a strong demand for professional field-based engineers to provide engineering leadership for on-site assessments, system integration planning, and implementation of complex air traffic control systems at operational facilities, including TRACONs, terminals, and laboratory environments.\n\nPosition Summary\nThe field implementation engineer supports the program by conducting on-site assessments of air traffic control systems. This role is responsible for inspecting, inventorying, and documenting hardware, software versions, and system interconnections at operational facilities. The focus is on understanding existing equipment, how it is interconnected, and whether it complies with established connection and power standards.
