As a Business Analyst, you’ll work with key project stakeholders to capture business and user requirements to drive development of innovative solutions. Business Analysts should have a strong desire to understand how things work and be able to decompose processes into activities that can be measured and improved upon. This position is ideal for someone who possesses a strong desire to learn, has a good knowledgeof IT and enterprise systems, and is comfortable consulting senior leadership and other business executives. The ideal candidate will possess critical thinking and problem-solving skills, a positive attitude, and be a team player.\n\nWhat you’ll do in this role\n\nHave a thorough understanding of the BizFlow M platform, its capabilities, and its application to customers’ business challenges.\n\nWork with clients and partners to identify, document, and model business and functional requirements, translating them into proof of concepts (POCs), user stories, and functional specifications within the BizFlow M platform.\n\nPresent written documentation, PowerPoint presentations, and POC demos to potential and current customers and partners of all levels, including C-suite executives.\n\nDevelop and deliver training related content – including lecture plans, exercises, and demonstrations – for the BizFlow M platform.\n\nRepresent project stakeholders throughout planning, development, and release processes.\n\nCollaborate with product, engineering, and delivery teams to review requirement specifications and technical designs and provide insightful feedback.\n\nTranslate technical complexities to project stakeholders, ensuring understanding of design decisions.\n\nAssist in developing and carrying out test plans to validate that the delivery of solution(s) meets customer requirements.\n\nConsistently and accurately communicate findings, recommendations, and other pertinent information to the customer to enable them to make informed decisions.\n\nIdentify new business and uncover potential opportunities for business growth.\n\nQualifications\n\nBachelor’s degree or above.\n\nBA experience minimum 3+ years.\n\nExperience with Web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.\n\nProficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).\n\nDemonstrates consistent, excellent communication and presentation skills to instill trust, ease, and authenticity with both customers and co-workers.\n\nAble to develop strong relationships and negotiate consensus among competing stakeholders.\n\nDisplays strong organizational skills – must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, with demonstrable multi-tasking ability.\n\nAble to adapt to a dynamic, growth-oriented culture and work well in a team environment.\n\nDemonstrates accuracy and thoroughness while maintaining deadlines.\n\nApplicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nProficiency with relational databases and SQL.\n\nExperience demoing software to non-technical stakeholders including execs.\n\nPrior knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and related concepts.\n\nPrior knowledge and experience working with Low-Code, No-Code application platforms (LCAP) or workflow solutions.\n\nAbility to develop and demo medium to complex UIs and/or workflows using Low-Code, No-Code application platforms (LCAP) or other workflow solutions.\n\nFamiliarity with requirements management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira) and modeling software (e.g., Visio).\n\nLocation: Falls Church, VA — 3 days onsite with partial telework\n\nJob Type: Full-time, permanent\n\nBizFlow is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
