Explore what our employees have to say about our unique culture by clicking here.Role OverviewAs a Sage Intacct Solution Consultant, you are an experienced, client‐facing sales expert responsible for accelerating growth in our Sage Intacct practice through high‐impact discovery, solutioning, and tailored demonstrations. You will spend the majority of your time supporting the sales cycle – conducting structured discovery, leading demos, shaping solution recommendations, and supporting scope definition and proposal efforts.This role is highly collaborative. You will work closely with Practice Leadership and Implementation teams to ensure opportunities are positioned effectively, and that scope, solution intent, and client context are handed off cleanly for successful implementation.What You'll Do:Sales Engineering & DemosLead and deliver high quality, tailored Sage Intacct product demonstrations aligned to prospect needs, including scenario walkthroughs and clear value messagingSupport deal teams by coordinating and driving activities required to advance opportunities through the sales process and towards closeRespond confidently to functional and process‐oriented questions, positioning Sage Intacct capabilities in a clear, credible way for both technical and non‐technical stakeholdersDiscovery, Requirements & Solution DesignLead discovery sessions during the sales cycle to gather and document business requirements, current state workflows, and success criteriaTranslate requirements into solution recommendations, including module alignment, reporting approach and integration considerations (e.g., marketplace or API‐enabled integrations)Partner with Practice Leaders to position value‐driven solutions and shape win strategyScoping, Proposals & SOW DevelopmentSupport scoping and validation, including Sage Intacct subscriptions order schedules and estimating level of effort based on defined services assumptions, constraints and dependenciesPartner with Delivery leaders to confirm feasibility of scope, sequencing, resourcing considerations and align proposal prior to contract finalizationDevelop or contribute to SOWs, project scope documents, and requirements summaries that enable accurate pricing, clear expectations, and a strong client experienceSupport proposal development or RFP response, address potential objections, and contribute to contract scope discussions with internal leadership prior to client negotiationsQuality Assurance & InnovationMaintain integrity of CRM data throughout the sales process, observing firmwide guidelines and appropriate leadership approval processesEnsure a seamless transition from sales to delivery by facilitating structured handoff with the team, sharing discovery outputs, scope intent, risks, assumptions and solution contextContribute to developing and implementing firm‐approved, AI‐enabled solutions, in accordance with company policies on data protection, intellectual property, and professional standardsStay informed about emerging AI tools and techniques and collaborate with firm leadership to identify compliant opportunities to enhance client solutions and internal processesWhat You'll Bring:ExperienceSignificant experience, ideally 6‐10 years, in ERP solution consulting, sales engineering, and sales, including leading discovery and demos through the full opportunity lifecycleStrong Sage Intacct experience required, in both core and advanced modulesDeep understanding of GAAP accounting and core finance processes (GL, AP/AR, financial reporting, etc.), with the ability to translate requirements into system solutionsStrong business fluency across areas such as Record‐to‐Report, Procure‐to‐Pay, Order‐to‐Cash, and Financial CloseVariety of industry knowledge (preferably including Financial Services, SaaS/Technology, Professional Services, and Non‐Profit)Background in consulting, advisory and/or professional service environments preferredSkillsOutstanding executive presence, storytelling and facilitation skillsAbility to lead client discussions and influence outcomesStrong analytical thinkingComfortable operating across ambiguity, especially when shaping scope and solution recommendationsExcellent collaboration skillsSuccess with aligning Sales and Delivery stakeholdersExperience using CRM platforms, Salesforce preferred, to manage opportunities and collaboratively track pipelineComfort with AI: Demonstrated ability to responsibly explore and adopt firm‐approved AI tools to enhance productivity and innovationContinuous Learning Mindset: Openness to learning and applying emerging technologies including AI and automation in alignment with firm policies and client standardsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Information Systems, Business Development, or related fieldSage Intacct Implementation Specialist certification preferredWillingness to travel as needed$205,000 - $240,000 a yearCrossCountry Consulting is required to include an estimate of the compensation range for this role. The following ranges take into account a wide range of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, education, licenses, certifications, business needs, and internal equity.
