We operate residential and other correctional programs throughout Wisconsin that provide case management, counseling and treatment groups, vocational training and high-risk client monitoring and supervision.\nAbout the Role\nATTIC is currently recruiting for an Urinalysis Technician, to provide community based services to correctional clients following their release and transition back to their home community. This part time position is responsible for ensuring program compliance and following established procedures for drug and alcohol testing of correctional clients via breathalyzer and urinalysis screening. Testing is performed on a random basis or determined by the daily schedule received by clients via phone message. Observation of testing requires the Urinalysis Technician to be the same gender of the client providing sample. The person in this position must demonstrate professional conduct and respect for each client, maintaining confidentiality and high ethical standards.\nExpected hours are approximately 3 shifts per month\nDuties include, but are not limited to:\nObserve collection of urinalysis and breathalyzer testing.\nAccurately document each test sample and results, along with summaries and reports.\nFollow chain of custody protocol during testing procedure.\nMaintain and update client files on a regular basis.\nEnsure cleanliness, safety, and security of the facility. Report any concerns to immediate supervisor.\nInventory and stock supplies and testing equipment; order as needed.\nPerform clerical duties including filing, answering phone calls, and copying/scanning.\nEducation & Work Experience\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nTest collector must be same gender as client providing sample for observed urinalysis testing.\nExperience and/or education relating to corrections, healthcare, medical, clinical, or laboratory settings.\nExperience in record keeping.\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities\nExcellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work well with individuals of diverse backgrounds.\nAbility to interact with staff, clients, and agents in an effective manner while maintaining professional boundaries.\nAbility to maintain the utmost confidentiality of all agency information.\nStrong decision making abilities and able to work independently.\nEqual Opportunity Employer/Affirmative Action\n\nATTIC Correctional Services, Inc. is in compliance with applicable state and federal statutes and regulations relating to nondiscrimination in employment and service delivery.
