By connecting with us, you position yourself for opportunities that align with what youre looking for.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform comprehensive First Article Inspections (FAI) according to AS9102 standards.Interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure part conformance.Utilize a wide range of precision measuring tools and equipment, including CMMs, calipers, micrometers, and gauges.Document detailed inspection results, including non-conformances, and generate comprehensive FAI reports.Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve discrepancies and improve manufacturing processes.Maintain accurate records of all inspection activities and ensure traceability of parts.Conduct in-process and final inspections as needed to support production schedules.Recommended Qualifications3+ years experience in a Quality Control or Inspection role within manufacturing.Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications (GD&T).Demonstrated ability to use various precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, CMM, etc.).Strong understanding of First Article Inspection (FAI) processes and AS9102 requirements.Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify non-conformances accurately.Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation.Bonus QualificationsAdditional certifications or trainingJob Titles That Should ApplyFirst Article Inspector, FAI Inspector, Quality Inspector, Receiving Inspector, In-Process Inspector, Final Inspector, Dimensional Inspector, Metrology Inspector, Quality Control Inspector, Aerospace InspectorWhy The Pivot Group NetworkThe Pivot Group Network was founded by manufacturing professionals whove been on both sides of the hiring process.
