Position SummaryPosition SummaryThis position is responsible for leading site-level financial operations within a manufacturing environment. This role oversees general ledger management, cost accounting, financial reporting, SOX compliance, and internal controls while providing financial leadership and business partnership to site operations.This is a highly interactive role that collaborates closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Planning and Site leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting, strong cost control, and continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting & CloseHeavily participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual close processPrepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAPMaintain integrity of the general ledgerManage Intercompany transactionsManage Leases, Royalties, Commissions, credit card spendFixed Assets & CapExManage Fixed Asset capitalization, disposals, tagging, physical countsManage depreciation, amortizationManage capital expenditure process from initial request to capitalizationManage all CIP activitiesTaxesManage Corporate tax requestsPrepare and file periodic Sales & Use TaxPrepare and file periodic City Business TaxPrepare and file periodic Property TaxControls & ComplianceEnsure Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and maintain effective internal controlsSupport internal and external auditsEnsure adherence to corporate and government accounting policiesBusiness PartnershipPartner with plant leadership to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysisServe as a financial liaison between Accounting and operational departmentsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or FinanceMBA or CPA, a plus5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including manufacturing and cost accountingStrong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controlsExperience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)Advanced Microsoft Excel skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailAbility to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentEffective communicator with cross-functional collaboration skillsContinuous improvement mindsetCompetitive CompensationPay, Benefits, Work SchedulePay Range: $100300 to $166900 annuallyParticipation in Annual Incentive ProgramBenefit & Retirement Plans Parker Offers Competitive Benefit Programs, IncludingComprehensive coverage for medical, prescription drugs, dental, vision, voluntary optional life, accident insurance, hospital indemnity insurance and critical illness insurance with competitive premium cost. 401(k) Plan with company matching contributions at 100% of the first 5% of pay.Company provided defined-contribution retirement plan with annual contribution equal to 3% of pay.Career development and tuition reimbursement.Other benefits including paid parental leave, short and long-term disability programs, adoption assistance, a Care.com membership and financial planning assistance are provided at no cost to you.Supplemental benefit programs including identity protection, legal protection, and pet wellness are available at competitive rates.Paid Time Off and Company-Paid Holidays.
