Elevator Trade","description":"Position Description:\nEssential Functions:\n\nAssists Quality Assurance Manager with the following:\nHelp New Construction/ MOD field technicians to resolve technical problems associated with a product or installation process\nServe as a primary and dependable contact for any field technical difficulty\nCommunicate with field personnel and our engineering department via telephone, virtual meeting, video call, or face-to-face interaction to provide step-by-step solutions effective in resolving problems\nConduct research to obtain valuable information in addressing, solving and preventing the recurrence of problems (field report & deficiencies report process)\nCoordinate ordering and tracking deliveries of parts and components as needed\nImprove an already established database to document every case to provide valuable information to improve the engineering- manufacturing and installation process\n\nQualifications:\n\nCET / OSHA 30\nMinimum 5 years in the trade with elevator license\nSuccessful completion of QEI and VTMP are preferred\nProficient with all aspects of new construction and special applications installation, modernization and adjusting processes\nValid / good driving record\nAcceptable physical condition – able to lift, climb, bend, reach, walk, stand, stoop coupled with fine manipulation – as needed\nAble to travel as needed for training and/or to provide technical support\n\nSkills & Abilities:\n\nMechanical aptitude\nAble to evaluate current processes and implement areas of improvement to ensure accuracy\nProficient with Microsoft Office\nExcellent communication skills -
