Join us to help create the displays that will power the future of immersive computing.\n\nRole Overview\nWe are seeking a highly skilled, self‑motivated epitaxy process engineer to develop and implement GaAs epitaxy processes for Micro‑LED display technologies. You will work with emerging display technologies to ensure we successfully bring these technologies to our customers, maintaining the industry‑leading bar we have established.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nDevelop and optimize epitaxial growth recipes for InGaAlP micro‑LED display.\n\nMonitor and analyze key material properties such as thickness, composition, uniformity, crystal quality, and defect density using metrology tools.\n\nPerform root cause analysis and implement process improvements to enhance material quality and yield.\n\nCollaborate with device, process, and reliability teams to align epitaxial structures with device performance requirements.\n\nTake ownership for equipment, monitor process and characterization equipment performances.\n\nEstablish and execute data collection/analysis activities for high complexity technical issues.\n\nMaintain standard operating procedures and traceability.\n\nPublish technical literature and reports on process innovations and act as primary link with internal and external product design as appropriate.\n\nQualifications\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\nMaster’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related field.\n\n3 years of hands‑on experience in compound semiconductor MOCVD epitaxial growth engineering technical environment.\n\n3 years of hands‑on experience with characterization of epitaxy wafers by PL, SIMS, XRD, AFM and TEM.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\nPhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related field.\n\n5 years of hands‑on experience with MOCVD of laser, LEDs, or photodetectors.\n\nSolid understanding of III‑V semiconductor materials and device physics.\n\nFamiliarity with statistical and data analysis tools (e.g., JMP, Minitab, Python).\n\nComprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.\n\nPaid holidays and vacation.\n\nEmployee stock option plan.\n\nInlighten Technologies is an equal‑opportunity employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity.
