Rotating every 3rd weekend with a 4-6 week advance schedule.Certification Needed: Registered Dietitian (RD) certification through the CDR.State License Needed: Washington State Certified Dietitian licenseJob SummaryOur client is seeking a dedicated Registered Dietitian to join their acute care clinic team. The position involves managing a high-volume caseload, diagnosing and treating malnutrition, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. The dietitian will float between two facilities for coverage and engage in daily huddles for workload redistribution, utilizing EPIC for efficient patient documentation.ResponsibilitiesManage a high-volume workload of 12-15 patients per day across various clinical settings.Diagnose and treat malnutrition using nutrition support, including TPN and enteral feeds.Utilize critical thinking for managing complex, high-acuity medical patients.Float between local facilities to provide coverage.Collaborate with the team and participate in daily morning huddles.Document patient care using EPIC with smart phrases and templates.Conduct screenings, assessments, and follow-ups within a 20-30 minute window per patient.QualificationsRegistered Dietitian (RD) certification through the CDR.Washington State Certified Dietitian license or ability to obtain before start.Recent Acute Care experience is required.Proficiency in TPN, tube feeding, and malnutrition assessments for high-acuity cases.Preferred, Not Required:Experience with EPIC EMRCNSC certificationStrong collaborative spirit and adaptability.BenefitsPaid Sick Leave (Medix provides paid sick leave according to state and local sick leave ordinances).Health Benefits / Dental / Vision (Medix offers 6 different health plans: 3 Major Medical Plans, 2 Fixed Indemnity Plans (Standard and Preferred), and 1 Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) Plan.
