{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"4aa4965400d8418bddf70f24","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/4aa4965400d8418bddf70f24","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/4aa4965400d8418bddf70f24","title":"Sys Admin","description":"Xona is the navigational intelligence company bringing real-time, centimeter-level certainty to any device, anywhere on Earth.\nWith Pulsar – the world’s most advanced PNT satellite infrastructure in Low Earth Orbit – Xona will offer a future-proof, backwards-compatible global positioning system optimized for absolute precision, superior power, and robust protection.\nWe’re looking for an Sys Admin to support and scale Xona’s internal systems across the G&A organization.\nThis role is focused on administration and configuration of SaaS tools, while supporting secure environments (Microsoft GCC High) and compliance execution (CMMC, ITAR, CUI).\nYou won’t often be building systems from scratch or leading compliance programs — instead, you’ll be the hands-on operator who ensures tools are running smoothly, access is properly managed, and compliance-related updates are implemented consistently.\n\nWhat You’ll Do\nSaaS Systems Administration (Core Focus)\nAdminister and support core business systems (Microsoft 365 GCC High, collaboration tools, ticketing systems, etc.)\nManage users, permissions, groups, and access provisioning across tools\nMaintain system configurations, workflows, and basic automations\nTroubleshoot system issues and act as the primary point of contact for internal users\nSupport administration of systems across multiple entities and international operations, ensuring consistency in access, configuration, and compliance requirements\nMicrosoft GCC High & Secure Environment Support\nSupport administration of a mixed Windows/Linux Microsoft 365 and Active Directory environment\nExecute access controls, conditional access policies, and device/user management\nHelp maintain secure collaboration environments for sensitive data (ITAR / CUI)\nPartner with IT/security leadership on implementing security best practices including health monitoring, backup and recovery.\nCompliance Execution (CMMC, ITAR, CUI)\nSupport ongoing CMMC compliance efforts by implementing required system updates and controls\nExecute changes related to CUI data handling, access restrictions, and audit readiness\nMaintain documentation, access logs, and system configurations for audits\nPartner with external consultants and internal leads to ensure controls are properly applied\nHelp monitor and remediate compliance gaps across systems\nSupport implementation and ongoing use of security monitoring tools (e.g., SIEM) by contributing logs, access data, and system context\nData & Systems Coordination\nSupport integrations and data consistency across tools (HRIS, finance systems, collaboration tools, etc.)\nAssist in maintaining data integrity, user lifecycle processes, and system hygiene\nGenerate basic reports or exports to support compliance and business operations\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\nCore Experience\n3–6 years of experience administering enterprise SaaS tools in a business environment\nStrong experience with Microsoft 365 and Intune\nExperience managing users, permissions, and workflows across multiple systems\nComfortable operating as a hands-on systems admin / analyst\nCompliance & Secure Environments (Preferred)\nExperience executing (not necessarily designing) compliance-related system changes\nExperience with Linux administration via Ansible or similar tools\nFamiliarity with audit processes, access reviews, or control enforcement\nFamiliarity with identity & access management concepts (SSO, MFA, RBAC)\nNice to Have\nExposure to or experience working in environments with:\nCMMC / NIST 800-171 controls\nITAR or export-controlled data\nCUI (Controlled Unclassified Information)\nExperience working alongside or supporting ERP systems (without owning them)\nExperience in aerospace, defense, or other regulated industries\nExperience with Mac OS administration and/or MDM\nExperience supporting systems across multiple entities and/or international teams is a plus\nFamiliarity with external threat monitoring or incident response workflows\nFor U.S. Roles: To comply with U.S. Government space technology export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the United States (i.e. Green Card holder), or other protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).\nFor U.K. Roles: To comply with U.K. regulations, this role requires Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) checks, and successful candidates must be eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance (SC).\nFor Canada Roles: Successful candidates must obtain and hold a security clearance at the reliability status level, and pass security assessment for the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and ITAR.\nWe celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
