The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, and optimizing CNC programs for various machining operations, ensuring precision and efficiency. This role requires strong technical skills in CAD/CAM software, blueprint reading, and machine operation, with a focus on maintaining high-quality standards in a fast-paced production environment. The CNC Programmer will collaborate closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to improve processes and ensure the successful execution of complex projects.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop and write CNC programs for milling machines, lathes, and mill-turn equipment using Mastercam.\nInterpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate machining processes.\nUtilize CAD tools like SolidWorks and AutoCAD to assist in designing parts and fixtures.\nSet up and optimize CNC machines including CNC lathe and CNC milling machines for production runs.\nApply GD&T principles to ensure parts meet precise tolerances using precision measuring instruments such as bore gauges, micrometers, calipers, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).\nTroubleshoot machining issues related to tooling, geometry, or machine settings; perform adjustments as needed.\nImplement lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste.\nMaintain detailed documentation of programs, setups, and process improvements.\nEnsure safety standards are followed during all machining operations.\nExperience\nProven experience in CNC programming with a strong understanding of Mazak, Haas and Siemens controls.\nProficiency in Mastercam, specifically programming for Mazak Integrex machines .\nKnowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and GD&T standards.\nHands-on experience with CNC lathe and CNC milling machines in a manufacturing setting.\nStrong mechanical knowledge related to machining processes, tooling setups, and schematics interpretation.\nUnderstanding of lean manufacturing principles to promote continuous improvement.\nAbility to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment requiring attention to detail and precision.
