Job Description Physician Assistant (PA) – Family MedicineLocation: 633rd Medical Group (MDG), Langley Air Force Base – Hampton, VAMDPerm is seeking a qualified Physician Assistant (PA) in Family Medicine to support the 633rd Medical Group at Langley AFB. This is a mission-essential personal services contract that provides direct patient care in a military treatment facility (MTF) environment.OverviewThe Physician Assistant provides comprehensive primary care services in a Family Health setting, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to active duty service members and beneficiaries. This role operates within a collaborative, multidisciplinary military healthcare team and supports readiness and clinical operations.Duties / Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive primary care services including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic conditionsPerform patient histories, physical exams, and develop treatment plansManage patient panels within a Family Medicine clinic settingDocument all patient encounters in MHS GENESIS or other military EMR systemsOrder, interpret, and act on diagnostic tests and lab resultsProvide preventive care, health maintenance, and patient educationRespond to urgent/emergent situations and stabilize patients as neededCollaborate with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to coordinate careParticipate in quality improvement, peer review, and performance improvement initiativesMaintain productivity comparable to other providers in similar rolesQualificationsGraduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program (ARC-PA)Current, unrestricted PA license in any U.S. stateBoard-certified by NCCPAMinimum 2 years of recent clinical experience in Family Medicine or Primary Care preferredCurrent BLS certification requiredACLS required (or must obtain within 3 months of start)Schedule & Work HoursFull-TimeMonday–Friday, 40 hrs per weekMDPerm is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
