This pipeline opportunity is intended to identify qualified candidates experienced in supporting mechanical engineering design efforts across facility and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and mission requirements. Selected candidates will be considered for future openings aligned to customer mission and infrastructure priorities.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nDevelop and/or review planning documents\n\nConduct building code compliance evaluations\n\nPerform peer reviews of plans, specifications, and technical reports\n\nDevelop design concepts and detailed mechanical system designs\n\nCoordinate with architectural, civil/structural, and electrical disciplines\n\nSupport project activities during design, bid, and construction phases\n\nDevelop and review project schedules\n\nConduct cost-benefit and feasibility studies\n\nDevelop lifecycle cost estimates\n\nServe as project or team lead as required\n\nDevelop scopes of work and provide contract administration support\n\nConduct technical studies and analyses\n\nLead production of design and technical documentation\n\nEnsure adherence to technical and design standards\n\nQualifications\n\nMust have an active TS/SCI with a CI polygraph\n\nMust have an ABET accredited Mechanical Engineering degree.\n\nEIT Certificate required; Professional Engineer License preferred but not required.\n\nAbility to develop working knowledge of all technical requirements of projects.\n\nExperienced user on commonly used CADD software, including REVIT\n\nBachelor's degree in related field with 10 years of experience (PM5)\n\nMust be able to travel 10-20% including OCONUS\n\nDesired\n\nCertified Building Commissioning Professional certification preferred\n\nAutodesk Certified Professional preferred\n\nProject Manager Professional (PMP) certification preferred\n\nSalary Range\nUSD $110,000.00 - USD $125,000.00 /Yr. The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
