If who we are and what we do resonates with you, we invite you to join our high-performance team!\nGeneral Profile Requires full proficiency in a range of technical processes or procedures through job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience\nCompletes a variety of atypical assignments\nWorks within defined technical processes and procedures or methodologies and may help determine the appropriate approach for new assignments\nWorks with a limited degree of supervision, with oversight focused only on complex new assignments\nActs as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience\nPerforms manual tasks according to established procedures\nEssential Functions\nAssist Research Engineers in conducting experiments and research.\nParticipates as a research team member in development or research projects.\nConducts experiments using appropriate research and laboratory equipment.\nIdentifies and labels samples meant for storage, stores in appropriate locations.\nRecords results from tests and experiments according to laboratory procedure.\nReports unusual or unexpected results to head scientist or engineer.\nMaintains and cleans testing equipment in the laboratory.\nReplaces equipment components that are worn or damaged.\nMaintains laboratory inventory, requesting and replacing worn, damaged, or empty items.\nAssists with the development of project goals and financial parameters for specific work assignments.\nRequired Qualifications Required education and experience: Vocational/Technical Training Degree and 5-7 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience\nPreferred Qualifications Preferred education and experience: Associate's Degree\nDiscipline/Major: Technical training preferred\nKnowledge, skills & abilities: Technical expertise. Ability to understand and follow directions. Product research. Quantitative research. Research and development. Research documentation.
