Class A CDL Log Truck Driver

Overview We are seeking a motivated and experienced Class A CDL Log Truck Driver to join our growing team. In this role, you will safely operate a log truck and transport logs, wood, and equipment to and from job sites with precision and safety at the forefront. This position plays a key role in supporting our crews in the field and ensuring efficient, timely operations. Duties Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles, including log trucks and equipment trailers, in compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations Load, transport, and unload logs, wood, and equipment using appropriate machinery (grapple/knuckleboom experience preferred) Assist with job site operations when needed to support crew efficiency Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and identify maintenance needs Maintain accurate logs, inspection reports, and delivery records in accordance with DOT regulations Plan and follow routes to ensure timely arrival to job sites and disposal locations Communicate effectively with crew members, office staff, and supervisors regarding schedules and job progress Keep truck and equipment clean, organized, and in good working condition Experience Valid Class A CDL license (required) Clean driving record Proven experience operating commercial trucks (log truck, or heavy equipment preferred) Experience with grapple or knuckleboom equipment is a strong plus Ability to safely operate manual transmission vehicles Familiarity with load securement and safe transport of logs and debris Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety compliance Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Why Join Us ?
