We're building something different.\nOpenDash 360 is UKi's next-generation training and workforce readiness platform that shows an\norganization exactly where its people stand against the work roles they're expected to perform, and\nthen closes those gaps. We're hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to help build the next generation of\nour platform end to end.\nYou'll work across the whole stack: the Angular and React interfaces leaders use to make decisions, the\nExpress API layer behind them, the Postgres data model underneath, and the Kubernetes deployment\npath that gets it all in front of customers. You'll work with senior colleagues to set standards across that\nstack, from component architecture and typed API contracts to schema design, service boundaries, and\ndelivery automation.\nAbout UKi\nSince 1999, Ultimate Knowledge Institute has set the standard for cybersecurity training and readiness\nfor the Department of Defense, federal agencies, and Fortune 500 companies. Today we're delivering a\nplatform that builds and demonstrates true workforce and work-role readiness. Our platform identifies\nindividual expertise gaps and builds adaptive, custom training plans to close those gaps for Federal U.S.\nGovernment, Defense, Intelligence Community, State/Local, and commercial customers. You'll be\njoining a product engineering team that is expanding fast, with real users, real stakes, and wide latitude\nto define how our flagship platform gets built.\nWhat You'll Do\nBuild features end to end. Take work from requirement to production across the full stack: UI, API,\ndata model, and deployment. You own the whole vertical slice, not a handoff at the API boundary.\nDesign and evolve our API layer. Build well-structured clear data contracts, sensible error\nhandling, authentication and authorization, and typed interfaces shared with the front end.\nOwn the data model. Design Postgres schemas, write and tune queries, manage migrations, and\nmake deliberate decisions about indexing, normalization, and performance as our data volumes\ngrow.\nDeliver rich, data-dense interfaces. Build the readiness dashboards, competency visualizations,\nadaptive learning paths, assessment flows, and administrative tooling that make the platform\nuseful.\nSet standards across the stack. Establish and enforce the patterns that keep a large application\nmaintainable: module boundaries, state management, testing strategy, observability, and code\nreview norms.\nEngineer for performance. Own latency and throughput on the application backend, query\nefficiency in the database, and render performance, bundle size, and load behavior in the browser.\nShip continuously. Work inside our GitOps and CI/CD pipelines with ArgoCD-driven deployment to\nKubernetes — small batches, fast feedback, automated tests, frequent deploys.\nPartner across the org. Collaborate directly with product, design, platform, and customer-facing\nteams to turn ambiguous requirements into shipped software, and mentor engineers as the team\ngrows.\n\nRequirements\n\nRequired\n7+ years building and operating production web applications, with time in a senior or lead capacity\non a complex, long-lived codebase.\nGenuine full stack depth: You are equally comfortable debugging a slow query, restructuring a\nservice, and fixing a rendering bug and you've shipped real features across all three.\nStrong Node.js and Express experience: Router and middleware design, service layering,\nauthentication and authorization, API versioning, error handling, and testing.\nDeep Angular expertise (required): Modern Angular development including standalone\ncomponents, signals or RxJS-based state, dependency injection, routing, lazy loading, and\nperformance tuning in large applications.\nReact experience (strongly preferred): Hooks, modern rendering patterns, and component\ncomposition. We work across both frameworks and value engineers who move fluently between\nthem.\nProduction PostgreSQL experience: Schema design, migrations, query optimization and execution\nplans, transactions, and indexing strategy.\nCloud native delivery experience: Containerized applications deployed to Kubernetes, with\npractical understanding of configuration, secrets, health checks, scaling, and troubleshooting a\nrunning workload.\nHands-on GitOps and CI/CD: ArgoCD (or Flux) driven deployment, Helm and/or Kustomize, and\npipeline automation as a normal part of how you ship.\nArchitecture judgment: You've made and lived with decisions about service boundaries, data\nmodeling, state management, build tooling, and dependency choices, and can explain the\ntradeoffs.\nTesting and quality discipline: Unit, integration, and end-to-end testing as a normal part of\nshipping, not an afterthought.\nComfort with continuous delivery culture — small batches, fast feedback, blameless learning, and\noperational excellence.\nA self-starter's bias for action: You see a gap in the product or the process, and you close it. You\ndon't wait for a prescriptive task list.\nStrong communication skills: You can defend an architecture decision to an engineer and explain\nthe business impact to an executive.\nMust be a US citizen authorized to work in the United States; role is US-remote.\nNice to Have\nExperience with AWS (GovCloud a plus), including networking, IAM, and managed database\nservices.\nInfrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform, Helm.\nObservability and monitoring stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, EFK) applied to real\nproduction debugging.\nEvent-driven or asynchronous processing patterns — queues, background jobs, scheduled\nworkloads.\nDesign system or component library ownership at scale (Storybook, Angular Material, shadcn/ui, or\na custom system).\nBackground in enterprise learning, training, LMS, assessment, or workforce analytics platforms.\nFamiliarity with SCORM/xAPI, SSO/SAML/OIDC, or role-based access control in multi-tenant\nproducts.\nExperience delivering software into government, DoD, or otherwise regulated environments\n(FedRAMP, RMF, STIGs).\nHands-on use of AI coding tools (Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor) and interest in an agentic\ndevelopment workflow; our team is actively building one.\n\nBenefits\n\nComprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.\nShort and long-term disability coverage for added security.\nBasic life insurance provided by the company.\nOptional supplementary life insurance policy available for additional coverage.\nUKI covers 100% of individual premiums for medical, dental, vision, disability, and basic life insurance.\nA 401k plan with a basic safe harbor matching (up to 4% match with a 5% contribution).\nEnjoy 15 days of PTO annually for vacation or sick leave.\nBenefit from 12 company holidays, aligning with 11 federal holidays, plus Christmas Eve.","company":"Ultimate Knowledge","rawCompany":"ultimate knowledge","city":"Brunswick","state":"GA","isRemote":false,"isActive":false,"createdAt":"2026-08-15T13:42:52.600Z","occupations":[{"code":"15-1252.00","title":"Software Developers","slug":"software-developers"},{"code":"15-1254.00","title":"Web Developers","slug":"web-developers"},{"code":"15-1299.08","title":"Computer Systems Engineers/Architects","slug":"computer-systems-engineers-architects"}],"industries":[{"code":"541511","title":"Custom Computer Programming Services","slug":"custom-computer-programming-services"},{"code":"541512","title":"Computer Systems Design Services","slug":"computer-systems-design-services"},{"code":"513210","title":"Software Publishers","slug":"software-publishers"}],"jobPosting":{"@context":"https://schema.org","@type":"JobPosting","title":"Senior Full Stack Engineer (Angular / Node.js / TypeScript)","description":"Help Build the Platform Behind National Cyber Readiness\nMost training platforms are a checkbox and a progress bar.
