It’s a very dynamic area within NetApp, and we pride ourselves on our agility, adaptability, and continuous process improvement.\nJob Responsibilities\nStrong technical knowledge of Cloud concepts and technologies, particularly Microsoft Azure (Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification preferred).\nA passion for solving customer business challenges with Cloud technology solutions.\nPersonal initiative - you will not be closely supervised, so this job requires a motivated, results-oriented individual who can achieve customer success without close supervision.\nExperience in working with customers within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.\nAbility to prioritize and address multiple projects concurrently.\nAppetite to learn and adapt to changing requirements and technology.\nExperience running proofs-of-concept for software, hardware, or Cloud-based solutions in a pre-sale’s role.\nKnowledge of Network Attached Storage (preferably NetApp) and how application workloads such as SAP, Oracle, SQL, VMware, HPC, Virtual Desktops, and others utilize NAS storage in a Cloud environment.\nFamiliarity with Container orchestration runtime concepts and solutions is a plus (preferably Kubernetes).\nOn-premises infrastructure and workload experience and data migration methodologies are a plus.\nWillingness to travel within the assigned geography to customer locations, and occasionally further.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nStrong English language skills (other languages are a plus).\nRequirements & Education\nDesire Bachelor’s degree plus 8 + years of related field experience\nNetApp ONTAP experience is a plus.\nMicrosoft Azure Cloud certifications are a plus, most importantly:\nMicrosoft Azure Administrator\nDesigning Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions\nAzure Network Engineer\nRegular Activities:\nQualifying customer opportunities and requirements, and the potential solution fit for NetApp’s offerings in Azure.\nDesigning solutions that may include one or more software, Cloud, and professional services, running technical workshops to demonstrate those solutions.\nPresenting (Solution Selling) at customer and partner briefings, Microsoft and NetApp sales meetings, corporate events, etc.\nDesigning and running proofs-of-concept to illustrate solution fit within the customer’s environment.\nA new handover of customer wins to Professional Services and/or Customer Success.\nParticipating in/hosting industry meetups and user groups.\nPublishing reference architectures, significant wins, best practices, etc., both internally and externally.\nMaintain a broader view of the industry through constant learning and a growth mindset.\nMaintaining customer Opportunity status in Salesforce.\nSelf-study/learning time:\nStaying abreast of the latest developments in public cloud services.\nAcquiring/maintaining technical expertise.\nDeveloping or enhancing processes and techniques utilized by our Sales and Technical teams.\nThe target salary range for this position is USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. The range is based on 'On Target Earnings’ (OTE) representing the total potential earnings, which is the sum of the base salary and potential commission earned when performance targets are achieved. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package.
