*Robotics Engineer* to own the electrical systems of an autonomous field robot used in utility-scale solar construction.\n\n*Key Responsibilities*\n\n* Own electrical architecture and electromechanical system integration.\n* Design power electronics, BLDC/servo motor control, and sensor systems.\n* Develop embedded firmware using *C/C++*.\n* Design and work with *CAN bus and real-time control systems*.\n* Debug, test, and deploy robotic systems in challenging outdoor environments.\n* Take systems from *concept through field deployment and production*.\n* Support pilot deployments and travel to field sites, including Texas.\n\n*Requirements*\n\n* 7+ years of electrical engineering experience in *mobile, autonomous, or field robotics*.\n* Experience at a robotics company, preferably with outdoor or harsh-environment systems.\n* Strong *power electronics, motor control, CAN, and C/C++* skills.\n* Proven experience taking electromechanical systems from concept to real-world deployment.\n* Strong hands-on troubleshooting and end-to-end ownership.\n* BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field.\n* Must be willing to work *on-site in San Francisco* and travel to field sites.\n\nExperience with *Tesla Optimus, Amazon Robotics, Zipline, Apptronik*, or early-stage robotics startups is a plus.\n\nPay: From $180,000.00 per
