You'll analyze designs, perform site walkdowns, and ensure cost-effective, code-compliant solutions that drive the future of power plant engineering.\n\nDesign & Analysis Excellence: Design and analysis of changes to existing power plants and new plant systems. Perform static equivalent and dynamic analysis of structures for seismic loads. Design of pipe supports, structures, etc. (nuclear power plant experience desired)\nEngineering & Technical Expertise: Perform work requiring application of basic technical principles, theories, standards, and concepts (including reading and understanding design drawings and technical specifications as necessary to support preparation of project deliverables, such as calculations, specifications, and engineering evaluations). Develop specifications of structural components. Support engineering design and analysis projects for the power industry\nProblem Solving & Innovation: Perform site walkdowns to identify design solutions and develop cost-effective problem resolutions. Interface with staff engineers and engineers across offices\nProject & Design Management: Develop equipment mounting, foundation design, and pipe support calculations and designs. Perform reviews, assemble and prepare design modification packages. Gain familiarity with and application of industry codes and government regulations #LI-SH7\nQualifications:\nBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university\nProfessional Engineering License\nMinimum 10 years’ with structural modification design experience\nExperience working on nuclear projects\nDemonstrated proficiency in preparation of structural calculations is desired\nKnowledge of discipline specific computer analysis codes as well as standard office production software\nProficient in Word and Excel\nFamiliar with the International Building code and building code design\nGood writing, presentation, and communication skills\nAbility to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams\nFamiliar with concrete and steel design codes and with working stress and ultimate strength design approaches\nMust be a U.S. Citizen\nPay Range: USD $140,000.00 - USD $180,000.00 /Yr.
