We are developing the applications that provide the tools necessary for our drug enforcement agents and the greater law enforcement community to take illicit drugs and those who traffic them off the street. The current opioid crisis in our country is testament to the critical mission of the DEA.\nResponsibilities:\nLead a team of 5-7 developers in support of the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) mission with an ability to guide them on technical decisions, best practices, and team efficiencies\nLead technical planning meetings\nConduct peer code reviews and final code reviews\nDemonstrate soft skills in terms of professionalism, conduct and execution in a client-facing role\nHave an ability to effectively collaborate with leadership and customers\nEnsure the Requirements Analysts data is accurately reflected in the appropriate system of record\nEnsure quality and integrity of the software prior to it reaching production\nApply modern software development techniques for a modular system\nHave an ability to learn new technologies as they are introduced, and the software applications and environment evolves\nSupport modernization of software development practices\nSignificant recent C# development experience.\nSignificant recent Java Script development experience.\nSignificant development experience with Cascading System Sheets (CSS).\nExperience with relational data models and SQL.\nExperience with XML and programming libraries for XML manipulation.\nAgile project and development experience utilizing Team Foundation Server.\nAbility to quickly deliver small projects, and to frequently transition between projects and applications.\nExperience in packaging and delivering software and documentation to a production environment.\nRequirements:\nExperience as a developer in a software environment that supported more than 10,000 users and a Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) with more than 250 tables and 1 million total rows.\nExperience in at least one software development environment with a minimum of 1,000 automated unit tests.\nRecent development experience (at least 5+ years) with ASP.NET MVC based web development using Visual Studio.\nMust be a US Citizen.\nMust have an Active Secret clearance in order to view, discuss, and handle classified data in support of applications.\nExperience/Education:\nMinimum 15 years of web development experience.\nMinimum 5 year of .Net Core/Standard development experience.\nMinimum 10 years of ASP.Net C# MVC based web development experience using Visual Studio 2017 or higher.\nMinimum 8 years of experience with Agile development methodologies including participation in Sprints, Backlog grooming, and Agile Ceremonies.\nBachelor's degree in a related technical field, desired\nNice to Have:\n5+ years of e-GIS experience, including:\nGeolocation from addresses to Lat/Long.\nUtilizing mapping software in a web context (e.g., Open Street Maps or similar).\nDisplaying and placing marking pins on satellite imagery.\nLeveraging distance measurement tools on maps in a web browser.\n#cjjobs Marathon TS is committed to the development of a creative, diverse and inclusive work environment.
