This position is ideal for someone with strong metrology expertise, extensive CMM programming experience, and a commitment to continuous improvement in a fast-paced CNC machining environment.\n\nIf you're looking for a company where your expertise directly impacts customer satisfaction and manufacturing excellence, this is the opportunity for you.\n\nWhat You'll Do\nCMM ProgrammingInspection\nDevelop, program, validate, and optimize CMM inspection programs using PC-DMIS (or equivalent software).\nOperate coordinate measuring machines to inspect complex precision-machined components.\nInterpret customer drawings, GD&T, CAD models, and engineering specifications.\nCreate and maintain inspection routines that improve efficiency and accuracy.\nTroubleshoot CMM programs and inspection methods.\nSupport production with dimensional verification and problem-solving.\nQuality Engineering\nPerform First Article, In-Process, and Final Inspections.\nInvestigate dimensional nonconformances and determine root cause.\nLead corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).\nCollaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Production to resolve quality issues.\nDevelop inspection plans, control plans, and quality documentation.\nAnalyze inspection data and recommend process improvements.\nParticipate in customer audits and supplier quality initiatives.\nContinuous Improvement\nDrive improvements in inspection processes and measurement systems.\nSupport Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.\nAssist with gauge selection, calibration, and Measurement System Analysis (MSA).\nHelp maintain compliance with AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality standards.\nTrain inspectors and production personnel on inspection methods and best practices.\nRequired Qualifications\n2+ years of experience in quality engineering or CMM programming within a precision machining environment.\nExtensive experience programming and operating CMMs.\nStrong knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y14.5).\nAbility to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and CAD models.\nExperience with precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, bore gages, optical comparators, and height gages.\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.\nStrong communication and organizational abilities.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office.\nPreferred Qualifications\nKnowledge of AS9100 and/or ISO 9001 quality systems.\nExperience with aerospace, defense, or medical manufacturing.\nRoot Cause Analysis, CAPA, SPC, and MSA experience.\nCQE, CQT, or other ASQ certifications are a plus.\nWhy Join Our Team?\n\nYou'll become part of a team that values precision, craftsmanship, innovation, and continuous improvement.
