Nurse Practitioner Location: McAllen, TX 78503 Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team in McAllen, TX. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered care, diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions, and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive physical exams and obtain patient histories. Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses and injuries. Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and lab work. Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans. Provide patient education and counseling on health maintenance and disease prevention. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with regulatory standards. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education. Qualifications Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program. Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Texas. Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (e.g., ANCC, AANP). Minimum of 1-2 years clinical experience preferred. Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Work Environment This position is based in a fast-paced clinical setting in McAllen, TX.
