The ideal candidate is comfortable working across optics, sensors, ISP, firmware, and automation, and thrives in a hands on, cross functional environment.\nJob Description The Camera Solutions Engineer will work closely with camera architects, firmware engineers, and validation teams to ensure camera features and performance targets are successfully delivered from concept through production. This role combines system level understanding with practical execution, including test automation, debug, and performance validation. Experience with camera tuning and camera drivers is highly valued.\nKey Responsibilities Serve as the primary technical interface between camera architecture and camera firmware teams\nTranslate camera system requirements into firmware execution and validation plans\nSupport camera bring up, debug, and performance analysis across multiple platforms\nDevelop and maintain Python based automation frameworks for camera testing and validation\nAssist with camera tuning workflows including image quality evaluation and parameter optimization\nCollaborate with firmware teams on camera driver behavior, integration, and issue resolution\nAnalyze test results and provide clear, actionable feedback to architecture and firmware stakeholders\nContribute to documentation, best practices, and continuous improvement of camera development processes\nEducation & Experience Recommended Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field\n1+ years of experience working with camera systems, imaging pipelines, or embedded platforms\nExperience working in cross functional engineering teams delivering complex camera features\nKnowledge & Skills Strong understanding of camera system architecture including sensors, optics, ISP, and firmware interaction\nHands on experience with camera tuning is a strong plus\nExperience with camera drivers or low level camera bring up is a significant advantage\nBackground in test automation and validation methodologies\nExperience with Python for automation, tooling, and data analysis\nFamiliarity with embedded systems and firmware development workflows\nStrong debugging, problem solving, and communication skills\nNice to Have Experience with video conferencing cameras, multi camera systems, or AI assisted imaging\nExposure to image quality metrics, subjective evaluation, and lab based testing\nExperience working with hardware bring up, sensor characterization, or ISP configuration\nAdditional Information This role requires close collaboration across multiple engineering disciplines and offers significant technical impact on camera quality, performance, and reliability across products.\nDisclaimer This job description describes the general nature and level of work performed in this role.
