Trueline's client, a nationally recognized Am Law 100 law firm with a strong presence across the U.S., is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join its downtown Los Angeles office. This role supports a busy toxic tort litigation practice and offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys on complex matters from case inception through trial preparation in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.Must have 5+ years of experience in litigation, PREFERABLY in insurance defense and complex litigationWhat You'll Do as the Litigation Paralegal:Support attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, including case management, discovery, and trial preparationPrepare, file, and manage court documents through ECF systemsMaintain litigation calendars and monitor court deadlinesDraft pleadings, notices, motions, subpoenas, and correspondenceConduct legal research using PACER, Westlaw, and other legal research platformsOrganize and manage deposition materials, exhibits, and document productionsCoordinate depositions, expert communications, and trial logisticsAssist with discovery responses, document review, and case strategy preparationCommunicate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and third-party vendorsMaintain organized case files and ensure accuracy across litigation materialsMust-Haves as the Litigation Paralegal:5+ years of litigation paralegal experience within a law firm environmentExperience supporting toxic tort, product liability, or other complex litigation mattersStrong knowledge of litigation procedures and court filing requirementsExperience with ECF filing systems, PACER, and WestlawAbility to manage multiple cases and deadlines independentlyStrong organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentNice-to-Haves as the Litigation Paralegal:Associate's or Bachelor's degreeParalegal certificateTrial preparation and courtroom support experienceExperience collaborating with expert witnesses and managing large discovery productionsFamiliarity with California state and federal court proceduresOur Client Offers:Competitive salary range of $80,000 - $105,000 annuallyMerit-based compensation growth opportunitiesComprehensive healthcare benefitsRetirement savings plansPaid time off and firm holidaysOpportunity to work with a nationally respected litigation teamExposure to sophisticated, high-profile litigation mattersCollaborative and professional work environment with long-term career growth potential
