The Claims Processor will be responsible for the organization, claims processing, and overall knowledge of the unclaimed property claims process. This is a remote position.RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:Data entry in company's proprietary databasePerform analytical review of documentation receivedReview and verify data entered into the system in accordance with client's business processesAbility to follow detailed written instructions to make independent decisions regarding the next step of each claimRecognize and report discrepancies to Supervisors and ManagementOther administrative functions and special projects as needed QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum of 6 months of relevant claims processing experienceRelative computer experience relating to data entry and databases including Microsoft Excel and WordMust be able to develop an understanding of the scope and importance of the project Kelmar is performing for its clientAbility to analyze documentation provided by a claimant and make sound judgment as it relates to entitlement and whether the claimant is the rightful ownerMust be able to meet minimum productivity requirements while maintaining a high level of accuracyHighly organized with exceptional attention to detailAbility to follow written and verbal direction with consistencyAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamStrong verbal and written communication skillsMaintain strong professional working relationships with colleagues at all levelsExhibits a professional, business-like demeanorMust be able to work during operational hours applicable to client state(s); generally Monday - Friday, from 7:30am to 4:30pm or 8:00am to 5:00pmBi-annual travel to a Kelmar office may be required for refresher trainingCandidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S without sponsorship now and in the futureSALARY & BENEFITS:Compensation for this role varies depending on several factors including level of experience and skill set.
