Steward - Luxury Hotel Kitchens (Orange County)
As a Steward you are most responsible to maintaining health and safety standards. Clean dishes and work space are critical. Speed and communication will also help you in this role.
RESPONSABILITIES:
Be on time & in uniform
Report to zone and be eagar to support your team
Organize your supplies
Clean kitchen: dishes, equipment, mats, floors
Say hello to chefs and servers, see if you can assist with requests
Follow safety standards
Report areas that need maintenance
Keep equipment in good condition and refill supplies
Keep accurate hours
REQUIREMENTS:
Flexible schedule.
Significant walking or other means of mobility.
Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move 40 pounds.
Bi-lingual is a plus (English and Spanish).
Coachable.
Attention to detail & passion for providing excellence.
Independant preformer that understands the culture is more important than any single team member.
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
Clean and well-groomed apperance.
Report any questionable activity
