Mode: Virtual / Technical InterviewAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Applications Sales Engineer with a strong background in Aerospace, Space, Defense Electronics, and Radiation-Hardened (Rad-Hard) Technologies to support customer engagement, technical solution development, and business growth initiatives within high-reliability electronics markets.This role serves as the critical bridge between customers, engineering, and sales teams — combining deep technical expertise with strong customer-facing and pre-sales engagement capabilities.The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience supporting radiation-hardened or radiation-tolerant electronics, embedded systems, power electronics, flight processors, SBCs, and aerospace-grade semiconductor technologies.This is an ResponsibilitiesCustomer Engagement & Technical Sales Support• Serve as the primary technical interface for customers across both pre-sales and post-sales engagements • Lead customer-facing technical discussions, design reviews, presentations, and solution workshops • Develop technical proposals, solution architectures, and product configurations aligned with customer requirements • Support capture planning, win strategies, pricing discussions, and business development activities • Build and maintain strong relationships with engineering, procurement, program, and technical leadership teamsAerospace & Space Electronics Solutions• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for: – Radiation-Hardened (Rad-Hard) Components – Radiation-Tolerant Electronics – Embedded Systems – Power Electronics – Space-Qualified Hardware – SBCs & Flight Processors • Translate customer requirements into optimized high-reliability electronics solutions • Support aerospace, space, and defense electronics applications operating in mission-critical environmentsProduct Support & Technical Strategy• Support technical evaluations, product differentiation, and competitive analysis activities • Troubleshoot technical issues and support customer problem resolution • Provide voice-of-customer feedback to engineering and product management teams • Assist in defining next-generation product requirements and long-term technology roadmapsNew Product Development & Cross-Functional Collaboration• Support product development initiatives from concept through production lifecycle • Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Business teams • Contribute to technical training initiatives for internal and external stakeholders • Support emerging technology initiatives across aerospace, space, and advanced electronics marketsMandatory Skills & QualificationsTechnical Sales & Applications Engineering Experience• 6–8+ years of experience in one or more of the following: – Applications Engineering – Systems Engineering – Technical Sales Engineering – Field Applications Engineering (FAE)Aerospace / Defense Electronics Expertise• Strong background in: – Aerospace Electronics – Space Systems – Defense Electronics – High-Reliability ElectronicsRadiation-Hardened & Embedded Systems Experience• Hands-on experience with: – Radiation-Hardened (Rad-Hard) Components – Radiation-Tolerant Systems – Embedded Systems – Power Electronics – SBCs (Single Board Computers) – Flight Processors – Space-Qualified HardwareCustomer-Facing & Proposal Experience• Experience leading: – Technical Presentations – Design Reviews – Proposal Support – Pre-Sales Engineering Activities • Strong ability to engage with engineering, procurement, and program leadership teamsEducation• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) or related technical field requiredPreferred Qualifications• Prior experience working with: – Aerospace Semiconductor Companies – Space Electronics Manufacturers – High-Reliability Electronics Organizations • Experience supporting space-qualified power architectures and electronic subsystems • Strong knowledge of advanced aerospace
