Job Description: Senior Estimator – Commercial ConstructionLocation:Miami, FloridaSalary:Up to $180,000 DOE + Comprehensive BenefitsWe're working with a well-established general contractor based in Miami that is looking to add a Senior Estimator to its growing preconstruction team. The business has recently been acquired by a billion-dollar conglomerate and is entering an exciting period of growth, with a strong focus on aviation, transportation, healthcare, education, and commercial projects across South Florida. This is a key hire with long-term progression potential, offering the opportunity to work closely with senior preconstruction leadership and grow into a larger role over time. As Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for:Preparing estimates for commercial, aviation, transportation, healthcare, and education projects Supporting bids from early budgeting through to final proposal submission Completing detailed quantity takeoffs and cost breakdowns across multiple trades Reviewing drawings, specifications, scopes, and bid documents Soliciting, reviewing, and leveling subcontractor and vendor pricing Supporting value engineering, constructability reviews, budgeting, and cost analysis Preparing bid packages, proposals, clarifications, and scope documentation Working closely with the Head of Preconstruction and wider estimating team Supporting large-scale aviation and infrastructure-related bids in South Florida Building strong relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and internal project teams Identifying project risks, scope gaps, and pricing opportunities Representing the business in a professional and collaborative manner Contributing to the continued growth and development of the preconstruction department Why This Opportunity?Join a respected Miami-based general contractor with a strong South Florida presence Backed by a billion-dollar conglomerate, creating long-term stability and growth potential Work on major aviation, transportation, healthcare, education, and commercial projects Strong pipeline of work, particularly around airport and public-sector construction Join an established preconstruction team with around four estimators already in place Work directly with experienced preconstruction leadership Clear room for growth without being brought in at Chief Estimator level immediately Opportunity to progress into a larger leadership role over time Competitive salary package up to $180,000, depending on experience Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, 401(k), and stock purchase options Long-term opportunity within a business entering a new phase of growth Interested?Call Oliver at +1 (407) 434-1620 or send your resume to oliver@allegiance-grp.com
