Responsible for executing and primarily overseeing daily receiving functions that include material receipts, storing, counting, picking, packaging and distributing material throughout the warehouse facility by utilizing lift trucks and other handling equipment. Associate is to maintain established inventory standard levels and ensure tasks are fulfilled in the most affective and accurate manner.Your TasksUnload all inbound material from truck shipments and assist delivery carriers with unloading of parcel packagesInspect, review, verify and record inbound material against delivery paperwork and document any discrepancies on appropriate documentsPerform material receipts into respective warehouse management systems and communicate any discrepancies and/or issues with ManagementCarry out material movements throughout warehouse by way of put-away, picking, cycle counting, replenish, and consolidating inventoried material within storage locationsFulfill scrap requests by pulling, staging and systematically processing product as requestedSort, count, package, rework and label product as requested by ManagementExecute cycle counting process of inventoried materials by way of counting, recording, re-counting and data entry of count resultsAssist with maintaining material accuracy and throughput in fulfillment/production areasDelegate and instruct receiving personnel while maintaining a high level of service and productivityConfers with department Supervisor/Manager for resolution of inventory related issuesParticipate and contribute in process improvements and adhere to the Quality Management SystemAny additional tasks that may be assigned to ensure an efficient, safe, clean and goal oriented work environmentYour ProfileHigh School diploma or GED preferred but not requiredPrevious experience with leading or supervising a team with a minimum of 2 people2 year minimum of work experience in fulfillment/warehouse environmentComputer use and RF hand-held scannerEffective communication/comprehension skills – verbal and written formMath skills – Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide accuratelyFamiliar with commonly used practices, concepts and procedures within fieldAbility to present information and respond to questions from management and other departments in a timely and accurate mannerAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and execute solutionsProficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel) specifically with use on spreadsheets and reporting toolsAbility to work independently and oversee production with minimal supervisionAttention to detail and perform multi-tasks successfullyA certain degree of creativity and innovation is requiredWe OfferSalary range for Valencia, CA: $20.81-$22.81 per hour.Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and Disability Pay.401(k) with company matching up to 6%.Paid Time Off, including paid holidays.
