We are excited about the opportunity to work with you and glad you want to be part of a team of talented individuals who together are changing the way the world communicates.Requisition ID: 77667DescriptionThis is a Contract PositionAs an Assembly/Build Technician, you will be responsible to support engineering activities in the assembly of prototype semiconductor devices which include fabrication, modification and assembly of prototypes systems, experimental design circuitry or specialized equipment.ResponsibilitiesDaily activities include building prototype semiconductor parts using assembly equipment such as SMT machine, reflow oven, dicing equipment, Die attach, wire bond, mold, laser marking strip grinder and sputtering machines.Must be able to participate in daily updates and exchange of information during meetingsEnsure ESD protocols are met and monitor complianceRequired Experience and SkillsAn Associate Degree or equivalent years of experience and at least 2 years of relevant experienceAbility to perform manual soldering techniques under microscopeWorking knowledge on different semiconductor assembly equipment such as SMT, die attach, wire bonder mold, laser marking, singulation, strip grinder and x-ray machinesExcellent communication skills, ability to follow verbal and written instructionsMust be able to use computer and working knowledge of MS office applicationsDesired Experience and SkillsKnowledge of different electronic componentsWillingness to work extended hours and weekends as neceessaryExperience in manual soldering techniques of microscopic parts is an added advantageSkyworks is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
