In 2024, we expanded our offerings with the acquisition of Daniels Plows, further strengthening our commitment to high-quality snow removal solutions.We are currently seekingWelderswith strong experience inmanufacturing environments.OurWelderswill be responsible for cutting; joining and shaping metal and other materials to produce high-quality structures or components according to project specifications. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of welding techniques, blueprints, and safety regulations.This position is located in Mankato, MN.Welder Skills and Abilities\r\nProficient in using electrical and manual tools (grinders, cutting torches, etc.).\r\nSkilled in MIG, TIG, Stick, and/or Arc welding techniques.\r\nAbility to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.\r\nStrong attention to detail and precision in workmanship.\r\nGood physical stamina and the ability to work in varying conditions (e.g., outdoors, confined spaces).\r\nCertification in welding (preferred but not required).\r\nExcellent problem-solving skirts and ability to work independently or as part of a team.\r\nWelder Key Responsibilities\r\nRead and Interpret blueprints, sketches, or specifications.\r\nSet up and operate welding equipment, including MIG, TIG, Stick, or other types as needed.\r\nPerform welding tasks, including laying out, cutting, fitting, and joining metal components.\r\nInspect and ensure the quality of welds for strength, durability, and compliance with project specifications.\r\nRepair broken or cracked parts, fill holes, and increase the size of metal objects.\r\nOperate grinders, cutting torches, and other tools to prepare materials for welding.\r\nFollow all company safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment.\r\nPerform routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure proper operation.\r\nWork closely with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget.\r\nKeep accurate records of work performed and materials used.Welder Education and Experience\r\nProven experience as a Welder or similar role\r\nHigh school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification is a plus.EOE/Minorities/Females/Veterans/Disabled.
